Job Title: Digital Specialist

Our ideal Digital Specialist nurtures deep passion for all things digital.

They understand how to leverage metrics to support creative decisions and feel comfortable with suggesting an out-of-the-box approach based on the latest online trends. They know how to use both creative and analytical sides of your brain, and never suggest a change in direction without the data to back it up.

They possess a minimum of 3 years of solid digital experience either agency or client-side. They speak fluently about consumer engagement strategies and demonstrate outstanding curiosity around user experience, digital metrics and pop culture.


  • Identify opportunities and/or challenges where digital can provide a solution
  • Leverage social, web, mobile and other digital communication opportunities for client solutions
  • Analyze and present behaviours of consumers across clients’ properties to senior management and clients
  • Own and develop effective web and social reports as well as work with senior creative leadership, and account management when identifying clients’ needs
  • Develop a vision for each client around how digital marketing assets will fulfill those business and customer needs, goals, opportunities and challenges
  • Work with technology team(s) to identify gaps in the data and collaborate to implement enhancements
  • Define the value exchange of digital engagements (ROI vs. KPI) through a variety of methods, including content mapping, program architecture, data capture strategies and scoring models
  • Research and keep up with new digital trends and technologies
  • Leveraging analytics tools / platforms when determining KPIs
  • Knowledge of information architecture, user experience, UAT and QA
  • Contribute to the Strategy and Consulting teams with ongoing reporting and research on online trends, and best practices
  • Facilitate optimization tactics to be applied across multiple digital channels and platforms (web, social, etc)

Skills and Experiences:

  • Minimum 3 years agency and/or client-side experience in developing integrated digital marketing strategies across multiple brands and channels
  • Confidence in initiating and leading discussions and recommendations with internal stakeholders and clients
  • Demonstrated experience with social media and mobile strategy, website optimization, search engine marketing, email campaigns
  • Passion for providing actionable analytics and making data-driven decisions
  • Proven understanding of data management tools and (i.e. Pardot, MailChimp, SalesForce, Hubspot)
  • Exceptional communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational and collaboration skills
  • Team player with professionally developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Strong understanding of brand, ensuring brand integrity and alignment throughout all initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics (certification is a plus), social media management and analytics tools (i.e. Hootsuite, Sysomos, Nuvi, Pardot, Radian6) SEM and SEO, CMS (i.e WordPress, Drupal) and basic knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Experience in online Public Relations and earned media execution (i.e. influencer strategy/management, traditional media integration.)
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Client facing / public facing presentation skills
