Job Title: Consultant, Esports Marketing & Business Development
Duration: Full-time

We are the T1 Agency, we believe in creating integrated experiences that bring brands and people together. And speaking of people, we’re currently seeking an experienced Esports Marketing Professional to join our T1 Consulting Team.

The successful candiadate should be as passionate about marketing and business impact as they are about esports and growing its communitites. They will be responsible for driving the development of the esports capabilities at The T1 Agency. As a day-to-day leader, they will grow the esports capabilities and expertise at the agency in the short and long term.

Beyond esports, the successful candidate will also play a role in the sponsorship and marketing consulting activities as well.


  • Effectively lead T1’s multi-faceted efforts in esports, including the identification of business opportunities and the development of business plans.
  • Understand, at an advanced level, what drives esports as a business and as a marketing channel for brands.
  • Understand, at a competent level, the role of sponsorship in the marketing mix of brands.
  • Overseeing business development efforts by attending initial meetings and informational interviews with prospects.
  • Monitor and review esports trends, developments, and news.
  • Represent T1 at industry events – understanding and articulating T1’s Consulting and Creative services and how they might help various industry organizations.
  • Develop project workback schedules and manage a team’s progress against pre-established milestones and deadlines.
  • Manage project budgets by ensuring team members allocate appropriate time inputs to various project phases.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, in meetings, emails, and presentations.
  • Develop decks and reports, and to lead client presentations.
  • Produce thought leadership content in the area of esports.

Skills and Experiences:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a field related to business or marketing. Advanced degrees/diplomas considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of esports and its communties.
  • Past experience working professionally for an esports organization, as a participant or for a brand who sponsored esports properties.
  • A minimum of 4 years of consulting, consumer marketing and/or sport marketing experience is required. A minimum of 2 years experience in new business development is preferred.
  • Experience at developing marketing plans, promotions, presentations and proposals.
  • Effectively communicate with clients, in meetings, emails, and presentations.
