Responsibilities:

  • Marketing & Sponsorship Acumen: The Account Supervisor level understands the language of measurement and evaluation on the programs that they work on. They understand their clients’ businesses – their target consumers, their competitors, their business drivers, their marketing objectives. They demonstrate an interest in marketing and leadership in the development of how their programs fit into the marketing mix for their clients.
  • Client Management: Manage projects and campaigns from brief to execution with the support of the Senior Account Director. Manage all resources involved in projects. Feel confident being the main contact with our clients on projects. Lead briefings and client presentations with the support of the Senior Account Director.
  • Project Management: The Account Supervisor can confidently manage multiple programs with the assistance of one or many teammates. They can coach and review workback schedules and ensure that time is being managed against them. They are good at identifying key milestones, the impact on cross functional teams, vendors, and clients, and ensure that their team is planning accordingly.
  • Financial Management: The Account Supervisor is involved in (or owns, depending on team) the planning process for their accounts, projecting revenue for their team, planning how targets will be met (using the account planning templates) and providing input into the related resources needed to be profitable. They habitually review the QVA for their portfolio of programs, monitoring fees and hard costs to ensure that they are recovered.
  • Production: The Account Supervisor demonstrates the ability to manage and coach others in the area of partners/vendor evaluation, management of logistics including insurance, permits, contracts. Participate in improving internal processes and daily operations. Work directly with the producers on estimates, timelines, contracts, legal and more. Work directly with agency partners on timelines, specs and overall coordination of asset delivery.
  • People and Relationship Management: They have a good sense of how much coaching their team needs. They take time to talk to their team about how they are doing both with respect to the daily tasks, and with respect to their need to succeed in the company and in their careers.
  • Critical Thinking: A strong critical thinker will demonstrate that they are seeking to understand rather than relying on their manager to do it for them. They will strive to only bring issues to their manager when they have thought through some solutions.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of related agency experience with a focus on experiential and integrated campaigns.
  • An understanding of Client needs and Client Service requirements.
  • Interest in and ability to manage and motivate, coach and mentor junior staff.
  • Ability to effectively manage integrated campaigns (OOH, Print, Digital and Broadcast) through the studio and liaising with media partners an asset.
  • Ability to effectively and collaboratively work on multiple projects in different phases of the creative process.
  • Ability to develop large budgets and manage quotes versus actuals and deliver programs on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills with proficiency in presenting both internally and externally.
  • Willingness to travel and be on-site for events/activations as needed (weekends included).
